Tuition Assistance
Covington Catholic High School strives to provide every family an opportunity to join our learning community. A Tuition Assistance program that is solely based on financial need is in place for families that qualify. For the 2023-2024 school year, Covington Catholic families received more than $510,000 in financial aid which was distributed to ~20% of our student body. These financial aid grants are combined with the work study program and they can also be combined with an additional scholarship.
How to Apply
- For the 20245-2026 school year, Covington Catholic will use FACTS to evaluate requests for Tuition Assistance. FACTS will evaluate the financial information submitted by each family and send a report to CCH that estimates the amount of eligible tuition assistance. Families can apply for tuition assistance through their existing FACTS tuition accounts.
- The online Application for the 2025-2026 school year must be submitted to FACTS, NOT the school, between November 15, 2024 - February 14, 2025.
- Families who apply for assistance will be notified by mid-to-late May, 2025 by FACTS through the email linked to the FACTS account.
- You will be loading your 2023 tax return and 2023 W2(s). We do ask that if you think you will have a major change in income or expense based on the 2024 calendar year, that you include an explanation for this in the comments section on the application. Depending on the comments, we may reach out for further documentation or with questions.
- Please note that we will send out a separate communication regarding work study scholarship applications and when those are due. We will continue to announce the work study scholarships early to mid-August.

Tuition Assistance Fund
The budget for Tuition Assistance is set by Covington Catholic during the Spring. The Tuition Assistance Fund is a set number and will be divided to assist as many families as possible. Applying by the deadline is very important.
The money awarded for the Tuition Assistance Program is only made possible by funds raised during the Annual Appeal, the CCH Endowment Fund, and the Northern Kentuckian of the Year Luncheon sponsored by Covington Catholic. Students and families that benefit from these programs while at CCH, are strongly encouraged to participate in these efforts as alumni so that other Colonel brothers can have the same opportunity to attend Covington Catholic High School.
Emergency Assistance
If during the school year, your family experiences a catastrophic situation that will not allow you to complete your tuition payments for the school year, the school has a limited amount of funds in reserve to assist our families in need. You may call Mr. Bob Rowe, principal, to discuss your situation in confidence.
Work Study Program
Students that receive tuition assistance are required to work after school for a designated number of hours based upon the amount received. These tasks range from general janitorial duties, landscape cleanup, and other duties.
Boys that wish to participate in sports programs after school have the opportunity to work their hours on Saturdays or during the summer months if they cannot complete them during the normal school year.
